The intelligent booth talks you through each pose while three HVLP spray nozzles deliver a fine mist of sunless tanning solution from head to toe, followed by an in-built drying cycle. Inside the Booth: How the VersaSpa Spray Tan Machine Works
The VersaSpa Pro spray tan booth is built around three pieces of kit working together: the spray system, the drying system, and the air-purification system. Each aspect is designed to make your spray tan session feel as easy as possible.
Three HVLP Precision Nozzles
HVLP stands for high-volume, low-pressure. In practice, that means the tanning solution comes out of the nozzles as a soft mist rather than a hard jet, so it lands evenly on the skin and avoids the drips and pooling which you can get with a heavier spray. Three nozzles fire at once, meaning that as you work through the spray positions, you get a complete all-over finish.
Heated Spray Tan with Infrared Comfort-Dry
A cold, wet spray tan is one of the most common complaints with older booths and handheld spray tanning. The VersaSpa Pro fixes that by warming the cabin throughout the session and running infrared Comfort-Dry passes between sprays. The solution settles and dries on the skin while you are still inside the booth, so you step out warm and dry rather than cold and sticky.
EZ-to-Breathe Air Purification
The EZ-to-Breathe system pulls the tanning mist out of the cabin air during the session, so the air around your face stays clearer and easier to breathe through. The technology also helps to remove lingering odours often associated with tan solutions.
Voice-Guided Automation
There is no therapist inside the booth with you. Instead, the VersaSpa Pro uses voice prompts to walk you through each pose – hands up, hands out, turn around, and so on. The pacing is built in, so you don’t have to think about timing (or second-guess whether you’re standing in the right spot).

Choose your Norvell® spray tan solution so the salon team can set up your booth.
Head to your private room, undress, and prepare for your spray using the barrier cream, hair net, and sticky feet.
Step into the open-cabin booth and position your feet on the marked footplate. Follow the voice prompts to ensure perfect application from the three spray nozzles.
Once complete carefully step out of the booth and get dressed.
